Tackley Horse Show
We are a traditional village horse show, comprising a range of unaffiliated showing and show jumping classes, working and ridden hunters.

The show’s guiding objective is to provide fun and friendly competition, and we have a special ring dedicated to classes for children including a popular fancy dress class. A show photographer, Alison Parker Photography, is on hand to record the day’s events.

As well as the busy equestrian schedule there is plenty on offer for the non-rider including a fun dog show and a variety of trade stands. The ever-popular Show Kitchen offers enticing hot and cold snacks and drinks throughout the day and there is also a licensed bar.

The Tackley Horse Show is entirely run by volunteers and village groups and is held with the kind permission of Mr and Mrs Peake. Funds raised by the event are donated to village organisations or to local and equestrian charities.
Our Ethos
We would like to encourage anyone and everyone to come and have a go. We are a very friendly show and provide lots of encouragement.

Profits for charity
All profits from the show are donated to a variety of charities. We do our very best to support local projects and charities, as well as larger organisations such as the air ambulance, which is a very important facility to anybody who deals with horses.
Fun Dog Show
With all novelty classes and suitable for all ages. There are trophies, prizes and rosettes to be won! Entries are £2.50 per class at the dog show ring from 10.30am onwards (or 5 classes for £10) for a 12 noon start.
